Job summary

Algae Services seeks an experienced Apigee X MCP & Cloud / Databricks Platform Engineer to manage API gateways, cloud infra and Databricks platforms. Strong hands‑on expertise in Apigee X MCP Gateway Administration is essential, with preference for Azure/AWS cloud and Databricks administration.

The role covers gateway administration, API security, and production support, plus Terraform automation and CI/CD pipelines. Location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Pune, work from office.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Apigee X MCP Gateway Administration.
• Experience in API proxy management, gateway policies and API security.
• GCP administration, IAM, VPC, networking knowledge.
• Databricks administration on Azure/AWS.
• Experience with Terraform, Python/Shell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Google Apigee X MCP Gateway environments.
• Manage the lifecycle of API proxies: configuration, deployment, versioning, promotion.
• Configure gateway policies, routing rules, target endpoints and shared flows.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, OIDC and certificates.
• Monitor API traffic, gateway performance, errors, latency and availability.
• Manage GCP services, IAM, service accounts, VPCs, load balancers and GKE.
• Support VPN connectivity, VPC peering and Private Service Connect.
• Troubleshoot API gateway, connectivity and security issues.
• Administer Azure/AWS Databricks accounts, workspaces, clusters, jobs and workflows.
• Manage Unity Catalog, schemas, permissions, service principals and governance controls.
• Configure Azure resources including Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Storage and Key Vault.
• Manage Azure Entra ID, IAM and RBAC.
• Support Private Endpoints, VNET peering, DNS and secure cloud connectivity.
• Monitor platform health using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Support Azure Data Factory pipelines and data integrations.
• Troubleshoot Databricks workspace, cluster, networking and performance issues.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Shell or equivalent scripting languages.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Apigee X MCP & Cloud / Databricks Platform Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Google Apigee X MCP Gateway Administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing API gateways, cloud infrastructure, Databricks platforms, security, automation, monitoring and production support.

The role requires strong experience in Apigee X MCP Gateway Administration. Knowledge of Azure/AWS Cloud and Databricks platform administration is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Apigee X MCP & Google Cloud Administration

• Administer and support Google Apigee X MCP Gateway environments.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of API proxies, including configuration, deployment, versioning and promotion.
