Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in release planning, testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Maintain documentation for changes, enhancements, and known issues.

Job description

Experience:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in application support/enhancement roles

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement new business requirements and application enhancements
• Act as a bridge between business, development, and support teams
• Analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions for microservices and APIs
• Coordinate with development teams for design, development, and deployment of changes
• Perform impact analysis on existing microservices and integrations
• Validate API changes and ensure seamless integration across systems
• Support minor production issues and ensure quick resolution (non-24x7)
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and suggest improvements
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations involving APIGEE and Kafka
• Troubleshoot DEH, APIGEE, and Kafka integrations
• Work on Oracle database queries, data validation, and basic performance checks
• Participate in release planning, testing, and post-deployment validation
• Maintain documentation for changes, enhancements, and known issues

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Good understanding of API integration and enterprise integration patterns
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS
• Working knowledge of Kafka, Topics, Producers, Consumers, Partitions, ACLs, etc.
• Working knowledge of API Proxies, Policies, OAuth, KVM, Routing, Quota, and Spike Arrest
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs/Web Services (JSON, XML)
• Experience with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of API integrations and service communication patterns
• Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis tools
• Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands
• Experience with release coordination and change management

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in banking or financial services domain
• Exposure to API gateways and service mesh concepts
• Knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
• Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, etc.)
