Job summary

MSCI is seeking an APAC Non-Technology Talent Sourcer to identify, attract, and engage talent across India and other APAC countries using AI-augmented sourcing tools, market intelligence, and social platforms.

You will own the top of the funnel with Recruitment Partners, translate business needs into targeted campaigns, and build long-term candidate pipelines while experimenting with new sourcing techniques.

Qualifications

• Early career experience or interest in BFSI talent sourcing or recruitment.
• Experience hiring across India and APAC countries.
• Ability to understand skill sets in various APAC geographies.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and engaging passive candidates.

Overview

• Source and attract high-quality talent across APAC(Manila, HongKong, Singapore and other countries) including India by leveraging AI-augmented sourcing tools, social platforms, job boards, research communities, and direct outreach strategies to build robust candidate pipelines.


• Nurture and manage candidate pipelines with a long-term view, maintaining regular, meaningful engagement that keeps prospective talent connected and excited about MSCI as an employer of choice.


• Apply market intelligence and talent mapping to sharpen sourcing strategies, ensuring outreach targeting and messaging are informed by real-time insights on talent availability, competitor activity.


• Develop and iterate AI-powered tools and workflows that enhance the reach and effectiveness of candidate outreach, continuously improving how the team engages with passive talent at scale.


• Partner closely with Recruitment Partners to understand hiring priorities, technical skill requirements, translating business needs into targeted sourcing campaigns that deliver quality and speed.


• Screen and assess candidates at the top of the funnel, providing Recruitment Partners with a well-qualified shortlist and a clear summary of each candidate’s technical background, domain expertise, and potential.


• Track and analyze sourcing metrics to measure pipeline health, outreach effectiveness, and conversion rates, using data to refine approaches and share insights with the wider team.

Responsibilities

As a APAC Non Technology Talent Sourcer, you will be the engine behind our recruitment capability, using intelligent sourcing tools, market intelligence, and AI-augmented technology to identify, attract, and engage the talent we need to power MSCI.

Working closely with our Recruitment Partners and APAC +India Recruitment team, you will own the top of the funnel for Non Technology hiring, bringing creativity, curiosity, analytical thinking, and strong technical understanding to how we reach and nurture candidates across India and other APAC countries.

Qualifications

• Early career experience or demonstrated interest in BFSI talent sourcing, recruitment, talent intelligence, or a research-intensive role, with a genuine passion for finding and engaging exceptional technology talent.


• Exposure in hiring across India and the other APAC countries


• Strong interest in sourcing and the ability to understand skill sets in various APAC geographies.


• Hands-on experience with sourcing tools, social platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, including the ability to engage passive candidates through personalized and compelling outreach.


• Curiosity and enthusiasm for embracing AI and emerging recruitment technology, with an appetite for building, testing, and improving tools that make sourcing smarter and more efficient.


• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms to support sourcing, research, outreach, and workflow productivity.


• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and targeted messaging that resonates with different candidate audiences.


• An analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use sourcing metrics and market intelligence to guide decisions and refine strategies.


• A collaborative, team-first approach, with the organizational skills to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously and keep Recruitment Partners well-informed and supported.


• A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow, deepening market knowledge, building AI sourcing capability, and developing the craft of finding exceptional talent in competitive markets across APAC region.


• Experience using ATS platforms such as iCIMS would be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
