Qualifications

• Familiarity with internet ecosystem elements (ISPs, domain names, Whois, IP addresses, hosting) and governance.
• Experience in technical investigations involving websites with direct download, streaming video, and P2P.
• Knowledge of packet capturing techniques and analysis using Wireshark/Charles Proxy.
• Proficiency in investigative tools: whois, (reverse) DNS lookups, traceroute, packet capture analysis.
• OSINT skills for information gathering.
• Broad understanding of Internet ecosystem, anti-piracy measures, and copyright issues.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP, HTTP(S), and DNS with routing context.
• Proactive, able to prioritise and be accountable; strong problem-solving.
• Excellent organisation and time management; meets deadlines.
• Proficient in Office suite tools.

About the Role

The role sits within the GRC department and is responsible for supporting the strategic vision and adding value to the development of the enterprise risk strategy. The successful candidate will orchestrate the maturity of risk management in support of the Information Security Risk and IT Risk Management program, and will work with multiple teams to identify and assess their individual risks and controls. The position offers the chance to be involved among the first in new projects and initiatives across a fast-growing international company.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in conducting technical investigations involving websites with direct download, streaming video, and P2P.
• Knowledge of packet capturing techniques and analysis using Wireshark/Charles Proxy for pirate IPTVs or Android apps.
• Proficiency in utilising investigative tools, including whois, (reverse) DNS lookups, traceroute, and packet capture analysis.
• Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) skills.
• Solid understanding of the Internet ecosystem, anti-piracy measures, and copyright infringement issues.
• Broad technical expertise with a strong grasp of TCP/IP, Internet routing, HTTP(S), and DNS.
• Proactiveness, confidence, prioritisation, and accountability.
• Creative and efficient problem-solving skills, with an ability to produce results in a timely manner.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in the use of Office suite tools.
