Job summary

Infosys seeks an expert Angular UI engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex single-page applications with a strong focus on UI quality and usability.

You will integrate front-end apps with backend services via REST APIs, architect reusable UI components, and optimize performance for fast, pixel-perfect experiences across browsers. Mentoring and leading technical discussions are expected to drive engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related field: BTECH, BSC, MTECH, MCA.
• 10–15 years of Angular development experience for enterprise-grade apps.
• Proven ability to build responsive, high-quality UI and to consume REST APIs.
• Experience leading technical discussions and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex single-page apps using Angular with a strong focus on UI quality and usability.
• Integrate front-end apps with backend services via REST APIs, ensuring reliable data handling and error management.
• Architect reusable UI components, shared modules, and scalable front-end patterns for long-term growth.
• Translate UX designs and product requirements into responsive, pixel-accurate interfaces across browsers.
• Optimize UI performance (rendering, change detection, bundle size, lazy loading) for fast experiences.
• Establish and enforce front-end coding standards, review PRs, and maintainable codebases.
• Collaborate with backend/APIs teams to align contracts and improve API usability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust fixes.
• Mentor and guide developers, supporting technical decision-making and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10–15 years of overall experience with strong hands-on expertise in Angular development for enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven experience building high-quality UI with a focus on responsiveness, usability, and maintainability.
• Strong experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data flows effectively.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and drive engineering best practices within the team.
