Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining enterprise Angular apps (v14+).
• Design reusable components and scalable frontend architecture.
• Integrate REST APIs with backend systems.
• Understand authentication and authorization flows (Guards, JWT).
• Solid knowledge of Angular lifecycles and change detection.
• RxJS and reactive programming proficiency.
• Routing, lazy loading, and standalone features preferred.
• HTML, SCSS, CSS3; TS/JS ES6+.
• Familiar with security headers and OWASP top 10.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop frontend using Angular.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Angular Sr Engineer with 3-6 years of experience.

Info: Previous work experience in financial services is preferred.

Requirements

• Must Have : Experience of developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Angular v14+.
• Must Have : Experience of designing reusable components/services, scalable frontend architecture.
• Must Have : Integrate REST APIs with backend systems.
• Must Have : Understanding of authentication and authorization flows (like Guards, JWT Tokens)
• Must Have : Solid understanding of Angular Life Cycle hooks.
• Must Have : RxJS and reactive programming.
• Must Have : Angular Routing and lazy loading (routing, deferrable views).
• Must Have : Experience on Reactive Forms with custom validations. Must Have : State management. Must Have : HTML, SCSS, CSS3.
• Must Have : Knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript (ES6 +).
• Must Have : Should know about how Change Detection works in angular.
• Must Have : Should have worked with UI libraries such as PrimeNG Angular Material.
• Must Have : Exposure to newer Angular features and best practices, and willingness to stay updated with the framework. (e.g. standalone components, signals, etc.)
• Must Have : Knowledge of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Must Have : Should be aware about the Security headers (CSP) and angular security best practices (XSS, angular dependency versions, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop front end of applications using Angular
• Work closely with Lead engineer and development manager for delivery of the solution
• Understand the requirements and collaborate with UI/UX along with backend team to design API based on requirements
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Proactive participation in peer review of code and ensure that high quality code is delivered
• Guiding and mentoring junior developers, reviewing merge requests
• Deploy and manage apps within OpenShift (OCP), including dynamic environments and Config Maps
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
• Contribute to development of various PoCs as per requirement
