Job summary

Sasken Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an Android Mobile Application Developer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience to design and implement advanced Android apps. You will work on modern architectures, Jetpack Compose, and cloud-enabled features, collaborating across product and engineering teams.

The role requires a strong grasp of Kotlin, Java, and native Android concepts, plus familiarity with cloud services like Firebase, AWS Mobile Hub, or Azure App Service.

Qualifications

• Proven Android development experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin and OOP, DS & algorithms.
• Experience building Android features with Jetpack Compose and ROOM databases.
• Familiarity with cloud solutions such as Firebase, AWS Mobile Hub, or Azure App Service.
• Solid understanding of Android framework architecture and core components.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Kotlin Compose.

Job Description:

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on Android development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Data structures & algorithms
• Expertise in developing features for Android applications with Android Jetpack compose, databases like ROOM etc. Also that leverage cloud solutions (e.g., Firebase, AWS Mobile Hub, Azure App Service)
• Strong understanding of Android development principles. In-depth knowledge of the Android Framework architecture and its core components.
• Have good working experience on Kotlin Compose , Jetpack compose and Kotin multiplatform.
