Your role

We, at Khatabook, are looking for an Android Developer to help streamline the development and maintenance of our Android applications as part of the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new features and improvements for existing features.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring.
• Work on bug fixes and improving application performance.
• Collaborate closely with QA, engineers, and product managers across the company.

Requirements

• Experience working on one or more Android apps available in the Play Store with a decent number of downloads.
• Familiarity with Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with the Android SDK and common frameworks like Dagger 2, Retrofit, WorkManager, and Room.
• Experience working with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
