Job summary

Blueberry It Solutions Consulting is seeking an experienced Android automotive engineer in Pune, India. You will contribute to Android Platform features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior members.

The role requires strong understanding of Android internals, framework, and automotive domain knowledge. Responsibilities include translating customer requirements into deliverables, guiding estimation and planning, and maintaining clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is required.
• Strong understanding of Android internals, services and framework.
• Experience delivering Android platform features (Tuner, Media, BT, Phone, ECall, Voice Assistant, Projection).
• Good understanding of customer requirements and ability to translate to deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Understand/Interpret customer requirements and translate them into deliverables.
• Collaborate with SMEs and leaders for estimation and high level project planning.
• Work within an agile cross-functional team; apply software lifecycle methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Demonstrate leadership, planning and organizational skills.
• Maintain strong documentation and presentations.
• Communicate with clients on day-to-day basis.

Mandatory Skills

• Good understanding of Android internals and services
• Knowledge about the Android Framework, HAL, BSP platform architecture, and related build system
• Experience in development of one or more features (like Tuner, Media, BT, Phone, ECall, Voice Assistant, Projection etc.) for Android Platform
• Understand/Interpret customer requirements
• Collaborate/Participate with SMEs and leaders in estimation, high level project planning
• Solid working experience with the software life-cycle methodologies. Collaborate within an agile cross-functional team environment. Strong leadership, planning and organization skills.
• Mentoring skills to assist junior team members
• Good analytical, problem solving and logical thinking skills
• Good knowledge of Git

Supported Skills

• Good knowledge of infrastructure modules like lifecycle, persistence, HMI framework, calibration
• Knowledge of IPC mechanisms such as MOST, Ethernet AVB, SOME-IP, d-bus
