Job description

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer proficient in Kotlin to design, develop, and maintain a high-performance native Android application. The candidate will work closely with the backend and design teams to deliver a seamless mobile experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin
• Implement UI designs using Jetpack Compose and Material 3
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket connections for real-time data
• Implement audio playback and background media services
• Handle push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
• Work with local storage (Room DB) and caching strategies
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Publish and manage releases on Google Play Store
• Write unit tests and UI tests
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (backend, design, QA)

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Navigation Compose, ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow
• Familiarity with Retrofit/OkHttp for API integration
• Experience with WebSocket or real‑time data handling
• Understanding of MVVM/MVI architecture patterns
• Experience with Hilt/Dagger for dependency injection
• Familiarity with ExoPlayer or media playback on Android
• Experience publishing apps on Google Play Store
• Good understanding of Android lifecycle, background services, and permissions
• Version control with Git

Good to Have

• Experience with Firebase (Auth, FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics)
