Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Native Android, Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screens
• Strong knowledge of SQLite and database queries, OOP, data structure, Kotlin, Android SDK, Firebase & Android Studio, MVVM, MVC structure for Android
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with the product development team to plan new features
• Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
• Proven work experience as a mobile developer
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android market
• In‑depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
• Experience with third‑party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with OOP design principles
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong problem‑solving attitude
• Firebase & Android Studio, MVC structure for Android
• Must have knowledge of integrating third‑party libraries
• Proficient understanding of code‑versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, Azure, SVN
• Experience working in Git, Jira and other productivity tools
• Experience working with the React Native platform (optional)
• Expertise in working with Scrum and agile development processes
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
