Job summary

Mihup Communications in Kolkata seeks an experienced Android developer to design and implement apps and SDKs for automotive head units. You will collaborate with designers and product teams to translate voice assistant workflows into interactive UIs and robust Android services.

You will own features end-to-end, write clean, maintainable code in Java and C++, and optimize threading, performance, and debugging with ADB, Logcat, and Android Profiler in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in Android development projects.
• Exposure to in-car systems or automotive Android is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Proficiency in Java (mandatory) and C++ (basic to intermediate).
• Familiarity with Android project structure, Gradle, and MVVM/MVC.
• Experience with threading models, background tasks, and performance tuning on Android.
• Strong debugging skills with ADB, logcat, Android Profiler.
