Job summary

Pinkvilla is seeking a dynamic Anchor & Producer to be the face of its video content and to own content production end-to-end. The role involves ideating, scripting, anchoring, producing and delivering engaging digital videos across YouTube, Instagram, Shorts and Reels.

The candidate should have strong on-camera presence, excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, and a solid understanding of entertainment trends and audience behaviour. Mumbai-based role with fast-paced collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in anchoring, digital content or entertainment media.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Anchor & Producer who can be the face of Pinkvilla’s video content while also taking ownership of content production.

The role will involve ideating, researching, scripting, anchoring, producing and executing engaging digital video content, including interviews, shows, explainers, short-form videos and original formats.

The ideal candidate should have a strong on-camera presence, excellent communication and storytelling skills, a good understanding of digital audiences, and the ability to take a video concept from idea to final execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Anchor and host Pinkvilla’s YouTube, Instagram and other digital video content IPs.
• Conduct celebrity, influencer, expert and industry interviews & Digital IPs
• Present both scripted and unscripted content with confidence and authenticity.
• Develop a strong and relatable on-screen personality aligned with the Pinkvilla brand.
• Host short-form and long-form content, shows, special features and original IPs.
• Participate in events, red carpets, launches and special digital coverage as required.

2. Content Ideation & Production

• Conceptualize fresh and engaging video ideas based on current trends, audience interests and Pinkvilla’s content strategy.
• Own content from ideation to shoot to final output.
• Work closely with producers, video editors, designers and other content teams to execute videos.
• Coordinate shoots and ensure timely delivery of assigned content.
• Provide creative inputs during editing and post-production.
• Create content suitable for YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels and other emerging platforms.
• Understand platform-specific formats, audience behaviour and content trends.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos, reels, teasers and promotional clips.
• Stay updated with trending formats, digital creators, entertainment trends and audience preferences.
• Contribute ideas for new shows, series and original content formats.

4. Performance & Audience Growth

• Monitor content performance and audience engagement.
• Use analytics and audience insights to improve content ideas, storytelling and presentation.
• Experiment with new formats, hooks, topics and storytelling styles to improve views and retention.
• Contribute to the growth of Pinkvilla’s video and social media ecosystem.
• Work closely with the Content, Production, Editorial, Social Media and Video Editing teams.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for interviews, shoots and special projects.
• Support and guide junior team members/interns wherever required.
• Ensure all content meets Pinkvilla’s quality, editorial and brand standards.

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in anchoring, digital content, video production, journalism, entertainment media or a similar role.
• Proven experience as an Anchor, Host, Video Producer or Content Creator.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong on-camera presence and interviewing skills.
• Excellent storytelling, scripting and content ideation abilities.
• Strong understanding of YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels and digital content formats.
• Good understanding of entertainment, Bollywood, celebrity and pop-culture trends.
• Basic understanding of video production and editing workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple content requirements simultaneously.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of projects end-to-end.

Preferred

• Experience working with a digital media, entertainment, OTT, YouTube or social media brand.
• Experience in developing or hosting original shows/IPs.
• Existing experience interviewing celebrities, creators, influencers or industry professionals.
• Familiarity with YouTube Analytics and social media performance metrics.
• Existing portfolio/showreel of anchoring or digital video work.
