Job summary

RPMGlobal in India is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder on a 6-month contract, with remote work and flexible hours, ideally 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST. You will deliver Anaplan solutions for complex business needs.

As the lead modeler, you will translate spreadsheets into multi-dimensional models, modify existing models, and drive data integration. Strong analytics, independence, and storytelling are essential to partner with Business teams and scale the solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• 2+ years of Anaplan model-building experience, including a large build.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work autonomously.

Anaplan Model Builder
Location: India, remote. Flexible working hours, but ideally 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST

Our client, a leading SaaS company, is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder.

As an Anaplan Model Builder, you will be primarily responsible for the successful delivery of Anaplan solutions.

You will be required to model sophisticated business problems, collaborate with others to solve complex challenges, and effectively uncover insights for our Business Partners. Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, and the capacity to adapt to a scaling organization will help you be successful. Being able to operate independently and lead in a dynamic environment is key to this role.

You Will

• Lead Anaplan model development and serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Translate existing spreadsheets and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization effort, or to incorporate new functionality.
• Provide significant feedback and progress updates promptly to the Business Partner and team.
• Establish best practices and documentation for Anaplan models.
• Participate in data integration and migration solutions.
• Partner on all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and communicating key insights that tell the story behind the numbers, the employee experience, and key drivers.
• Enjoy being part of a team and working in an "all-hands-on-deck" environment, shifting between different types of tasks, working with several partners, and demonstrating a passion for storytelling.
• Investigate the root cause of data and reporting issues.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business (Finance, Operations, Accounting, etc.) or a highly technical field (Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, etc.).
• Passion for business analytics, modeling, and planning.
• 2+ years of Anaplan model-building experience, with at least one large and complex ground-up build.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Experience working autonomously and collaboratively in a rapid-growth environment.

Preferred Skills

• Consulting experience or academic research in a technical field (Economics, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, etc.).
• Experience collaborating on dynamic projects with HR, Finance, Accounting, Product, and/or Engineering teams.
• Organizational change or project management leadership experience.
