Job summary

Genpact is seeking an Anaplan Model Builder to support world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis. The role involves partnering with FP&A to translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions and leading model architecture discussions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Anaplan model building and financial planning, with strong communication skills and a drive to innovate within Ambiguity, delivering high-impact analyses and solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building models with Anaplan, Solution Architect Certification preferred
• 4+ years of experience with financial planning and analysis, CPG preferred
• Data engineering a plus
• Advanced knowledge of the Anaplan platform and model building
• Excellent ability to deliver Anaplan products that satisfy business requirements, with the ability to drive work forward when ambiguity exists through showing the art of the possible
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written with strong desire and ability to listen and cultivate diversity of thought with internal customers
• Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills with passion for financial analysis and business modeling
• Innovative mindset, drawing from personal experiences with the ability to challenge the status quo and offer new ways of thinking about our most complex issues

Responsibilities

• Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to develop roadmap, identify needs, understand existing models (Excel/ Anaplan), and assist in the process of translating them into efficiently built and enhanced Anaplan solutions, offering solution architect points of view along the way
• Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance models
• Be the thought leader of existing/new models and processes, and assist in future enhancements to drive planning efficiency and company growth
• Continuously identify gaps and opportunities for projects that will streamline workflows and overall processes, successfully connecting disparate processes leveraging Anaplan and sustainable architecture
• Collaborate with our internal teams to identify areas of opportunity for data automation and efficiency
• Define model architecture, data structures, modules, lists, and hierarchies
• Lead with Anaplan best practices and integration standards

Role - Anaplan Model Builder

The Anaplan Model Builder role will support world-class financial forecasting, planning, reporting and analysis. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team works closely with senior executives to plan the business and allocate budget and resources to the companys strategic initiatives across our Segment Snacking FP&A.

This role will provide the opportunity to facilitate analysis and modelling projects not only within Snackings FP&A team, but also the Anaplan Center of Excellence team.
