Job summary

Nextpower is seeking an experienced Anaplan Model Builder to lead end-to-end Anaplan implementations, drive best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable planning solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in IT with 2-3+ years in Anaplan, strong integration skills, and a track record of delivering enterprise-scale models with ALM governance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of overall IT experience with 2-3+ years in Anaplan implementation.
• Strong expertise in Anaplan model building (Level 3 preferred) and DISCO methodology.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Anaplan solutions with integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Anaplan solution design and architecture across multiple domains.
• Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan models following best practices.
• Design and oversee model architecture, data integration strategy, and deployment approach.

Job Description: We are seeking a experienced Anaplan Model Builder with 4+ years of overall experience and deep expertise in designing, architecting, and implementing enterprise-scale Anaplan solutions. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Anaplan implementations, drive best practices, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Anaplan solution design and architecture across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, or Workforce Planning domains.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient Anaplan models following best practices (DISCO, PLANS, ALM).
• Design and oversee model architecture, data integration strategy, and deployment approach.
• Implement and optimize Anaplan data hubs and spoke models.
• Drive model performance tuning and optimization.
• Manage Anaplan ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) strategy.
• Integrate Anaplan with external systems (Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, Azure, etc.) using APIs, Informatica, MuleSoft, Boomi, or other ETL tools.
• Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
• Mentor model builders and junior consultants.
• Ensure governance, security, and role-based access control design.
• Support production deployment and hypercare activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of overall IT experience with 2-3+ years in Anaplan implementation.
• Strong expertise in: Anaplan model building (Level 3 preferred) DISCO methodology PLANS standards Data Hub architecture ALM and deployment strategy Experience designing enterprise-scale Anaplan solutions.
• Strong understanding of: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Sales Planning Supply Chain Planning Experience with integrations using: Anaplan Connect REST APIs CloudWorks ETL tools Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
