Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an Analytics Specialist Solution Architect to join the India WWSO Specialists team. You will act as the technical authority on AWS Analytics services to design and implement modern data architectures at scale in India.

You will work with customers to solve complex data challenges, build data lakes and real-time pipelines, and drive adoption of AWS analytics across enterprises and public sector in Bengaluru and across India.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• Strong knowledge of AWS analytics services (Redshift, Athena, EMR, Glue, MSK, OpenSearch).
• Experience designing data architectures, data lakes and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor for AWS Analytics services to enterprise and public sector customers in India.
• Design end-to-end analytics architectures spanning ingestion, processing, warehousing, streaming and visualization using AWS services.
• Lead deep-dives, PoC engagements, and architecture reviews with customer technical teams.
• Develop reference architectures and best-practice guides for data lake, warehouse and streaming use cases.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback and influence service roadmaps in India.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Analytics Specialist Solution Architect to join our India WWSO Specialists team. In this role, you will serve as the deep technical authority on AWS Analytics services - including Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon EMR, AWS Glue, Amazon MSK, and Amazon OpenSearch Service - helping customers across India design and implement modern data architectures at scale.

As a Senior Specialist SA, you will work directly with customers to solve complex data challenges, from building petabyte-scale data lakes and real-time streaming pipelines to optimizing enterprise data warehouses. You will partner with account teams, product teams, and services leadership to drive adoption, influence the product roadmap, and shape the future of analytics on AWS in the India market.

Key job responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted technical advisor for AWS Analytics services to enterprise, digital-native, and public sector customers in India.
• Design end-to-end analytics architectures spanning data ingestion, processing, warehousing, streaming, and visualization using AWS services.
• Lead technical deep-dives, workshops, proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, and architecture reviews with customer technical teams.
• Develop reusable reference architectures, best-practice guides, and technical content for data lake, data warehouse, and streaming use cases.
• Collaborate with AWS product teams to provide customer feedback, influence service roadmaps, and drive feature adoption in the India region.
• Support field teams with competitive positioning against on-premises and third-party analytics platforms.
• Deliver thought leadership through blog posts, whitepapers, conference presentations, and community engagement.
• Mentor and enable the broader SA community on Analytics best practices and emerging capabilities such as S3 Tables and Amazon Quick Suite.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
• Knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments
• Experience managing data pipelines
• Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
• Knowledge of AWS platforms such as S3, Glue, Athena, Sagemaker
• AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or Associate's degree or above
• Experience in sales, technical pre-sales, product development, or customer facing resources
• Experience with Amazon Redshift Serverless, Athena Federated Query, Glue DataBrew, and MSK Connect.
• Track record of publishing technical content or speaking at industry conferences.
