Job summary

ClarityPay is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in India to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to shape strategy, uncover opportunities, and deliver measurable impact, operating with independence and ownership.

You will own analytics projects, build dashboards, ensure data quality, and translate problems into structured frameworks, communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of data analytics, business intelligence, or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R; Databricks experience a plus.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics projects from problem definition through execution and delivery.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support decision-making.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who can turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role is suited for someone who operates with a high degree of independence—someone who not only answers questions, but proactively identifies them.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape strategy, uncover opportunities, and deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, takes ownership of outcomes, and brings a strong balance of analytical rigor and business context.

Key Responsibilities:

● Own end-to-end analytics projects, from problem definition through execution and delivery

● Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting outputs.

What We’re Looking For

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science)

● 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field

● Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R. Experience with the Databricks platform is a plus.

● Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

● Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights

● Experience working with large and complex datasets

● Prior experience in fintech, payments, or digital products is a plus.
