Job summary

Cybage Software is seeking an Analytics Engineer – Enterprise Analytics for its Data Science & Insights Department in Pune with remote options. The role focuses on developing, optimizing, and governing SAC-based reporting, planning solutions, and enterprise dashboards to align with data standards and semantic models.

You will collaborate with Analytics Systems Lead and other teams to ensure scalable, secure SAC solutions, data connectivity, and robust performance across planning and analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IS/Analytics/Finance Systems or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or enterprise reporting roles.
• Hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud development (Stories, Models, Planning) experience required.
• Experience integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere or other SAP data sources preferred.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and semantic layer principles; working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience implementing role-based access and governance within analytics platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and business teams and ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytic solutions.
• Exposure to enterprise planning or financial performance management workflows; familiarity with Tableau or Power BI and platform modernization experience preferred.

• Develops SAC data models aligned to enterprise datasets and semantic standards.
• Supports planning and performance management use cases where applicable.

• Collaborates with SAP BDC/Datasphere and Data Engineering teams to ensure reliable data connectivity.
• Optimizes SAC performance, data refresh strategies, and model efficiency.
• Supports transport, lifecycle management, and content deployment processes.
• Contributes to documentation, standards, and best practices for SAC development.
• Assists in troubleshooting production issues and participate in platform support processes.
