Experian in Mumbai is hiring an Analytics Consultant to build advanced credit risk models and deliver data-driven solutions for financial services clients. You will leverage machine learning, bureau and alternate data, and risk analytics to drive underwriting, decisioning, and portfolio management strategies.

You will collaborate with Business and Technical consultants to ensure a shared understanding of proposed solutions, use analysis to develop value propositions for customers, and deliver

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in credit risk modelling across customer life cycle.
• Domain expertise includes MSME lending, with understanding of MSME underwriting, credit assessment, risk segmentation, bureau-based lending, alternate-data-based lending, and portfolio risk management.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Gradient Boost, KNN.
• Knowledge of different modelling frameworks like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree
• Experience working on large datasets using Modern languages like Python
• Good understanding and hands-on experience of statistical modelling/data analysis tools (SAS, Python) and techniques
• Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression etc.
• Experience in decisioning and portfolio management within banking and financial services will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of credit bureau would be an added advantage
• Extensive experience of managing large projects
• Experience working in a financial services environment or Modelling department of International Banks
• Interpret technical features into commercial benefits
