Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Procurement and Vendor Management professional in Pune to support onboarding of new vendors and annual due diligence across multiple departments. You will work closely with diverse teams to ensure accurate vendor data and contract compliance.

The role requires a solid foundation in fund services, ledger accounting, and strong attention to detail. You will report to the Procurement and Vendor Manager and contribute to budget forecasting and contract optimizations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fund services and exposure to vendor contracts is required.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word is essential.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist Procurement and Vendor Management in onboarding new vendors.
• Perform annual vendor due diligence across multiple departments and locations.
• Interact with internal offices during new supplier onboarding and ongoing due diligence.
• Understand and interpret vendor contracts and their cost impact on budgets and forecasts.
• Support the vendor contract lifecycle from start to end.
• Complete ad-hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• A successful applicant for this position will assist the Procurement and Vendor Management team in onboarding new vendors and completing annual due diligence on vendors.
• The onboarding and annual due diligence will involve dealing with multiple departments and locations across Apex Group.
• The applicant will be exposed to a wide range of types of vendors.
• The applicant will report into the Procurement and Vendor Manager.
• They will get exposure to vendor contracts and will assist with the vendor contract lifecycle from start to end.
• The Role Assist team in onboarding new suppliers and completing annual due diligence on suppliers.
• Work with internal offices and departments within the Group as part of the new supplier onboarding process and ongoing due diligence.
• Ability to understand and interpret vendor contracts.
• Ability to understand the cost impact of vendor contracts on the budget and forecast process.
• Monitor supplier contracts due for renewal.
• Assist with onboarding the suppliers and contracts of newly acquired entities within the Group.
• Complete ad-hoc projects and requests as and when needed.

Skills Required

• At least 3-4 years’ experience in the fund services industry fund, preferably with exposure to vendor contracts.
• Experience with general ledger accounting.
• Strong computers skills including Excel & Word
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• University degree – accounting, finance or IT preferred (or overseas equivalent)
