You will be trained and work closely with client teams to learn mortgage lifecycle processes. You will support loan-level activities, monitor the pipeline and exceptions, and develop expertise in mortgage lending

Qualifications

  • Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is required.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification in Finance is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist UK Commercial and Residential Mortgage Loan Acquisition teams in credit analysis and due diligence.

We are currently hiring an Analyst – UK Mortgage Servicing & Loan Operations to join our India-based team supporting a leading UK mortgage business. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for candidates who are eager to build expertise in UK commercial and residential mortgage operations, credit analysis, loan acquisition, servicing, and due diligence.

As an Analyst, you will work closely with the client’s mortgage acquisition and servicing teams and receive structured training on the relevant processes, systems, and guidelines. You will support critical loan-level activities while developing a strong understanding of the UK mortgage lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will support the client’s UK Commercial and Residential Mortgage Loan Acquisition team in credit analysis, loan-level review, and due diligence activities.
  • You will monitor the loan pipeline and loan-level exceptions, ensuring outstanding requirements are tracked and appropriately followed up.
  • You will develop an understanding of the client’s mortgage lending guidelines and eligibility criteria and support originators in determining whether loans meet applicable requirements.
  • You will communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties through email and telephone to obtain required documentation and resolve outstanding information requirements.
  • You will monitor loan redemptions, support relevant calculations, and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes.
  • You will review interim reports related to development funding requests, validate required information, and support the processing of funding requests.
  • You will coordinate with originators, third-party vendors, solicitors, and other stakeholders to support pre-close and post-close loan due diligence activities.
  • You will maintain and update Excel-based loan eligibility models, supporting loan-level calculations, eligibility confirmations, and reporting requirements.
  • You will maintain accurate records relating to loan acquisitions, development funding, and redemptions to support management reporting and operational tracking.
  • You will proactively follow up on pending documentation, exceptions, and action items to ensure activities progress within established timelines.
  • You will participate in process training and continuously develop your understanding of UK mortgage lending, servicing, credit analysis, and loan operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Freshers and candidates with 0–2 years of experience in finance, banking, mortgage operations, financial services, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or other postgraduate qualification in Finance is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with formulas, data analysis, calculations, and structured reporting.
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with an interest in financial services.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new processes, guidelines, and systems quickly.
  • Candidates with prior exposure to mortgage lending, banking, loan processing, credit analysis, or financial operations will have an added advantage, but prior mortgage experience is not mandatory.
