Job summary

CONMED Corporation in Mumbai, India, seeks an SAP PP/QM Tester to validate SAP S/4HANA PP/QM solutions in a manufacturing setting. You will design test scenarios, execute test cycles, identify defects, and support cutover and go-live validation.

The role targets 2–3 years of SAP testing experience with PP/QM, and requires strong analytical and communication skills to work with functional consultants, users and developers on implementation projects.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and testing activities for PP and QM.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, scripts and data for PP/QM.
• Perform Funt/Integration/UAT/End-to-End testing and validation.
• Validate manufacturing processes: BOM, routing, work centers, production orders, MRP.
• Track defects, perform retesting, and manage cutover validation with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with consultants, users, developers and integration teams.
• Prepare test execution reports and support post-go-live validation.

Job description

Purpose

The SAP PP/QM Tester is responsible for validating and ensuring the quality of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions within a manufacturing environment. The role involves preparing test scenarios, executing test cycles, identifying defects, and supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation projects to ensure business requirements are met and processes function as designed.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and testing activities for PP and QM modules.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and process designs for manufacturing operations.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for PP and QM processes.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End process validation.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience

2 to 3 years of SAP testing experience with focus on SAP PP and QM modules. Mandatory experience in at least one SAP S/4HANA implementation project within a manufacturing industry. Experience in Functional, Integration, and UAT testing.

Preferred Requirements

Education

Master's degree or SAP Certification preferred.

Experience

Experience with SAP Solution Manager, ALM, JIRA or other testing tools. Exposure to MES, EWM, MM, or SD integration.

Other Attributes

SAP S/4HANA certification in PP or QM. Knowledge of automated testing tools is an advantage.
