Job summary

Ares Management in Mumbai seeks an experienced RFP professional to coordinate and deliver investor-related materials, including responses to RFIs, DDQs and ad-hoc requests.

You will partner with client relationship teams, product strategy and investment teams to craft clear, differentiated materials and ensure messaging consistency across platforms. Strong writing, project management, and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in financial services or asset management, focused on RFP/investor relations.
• Experience with RFP/proposal automation and AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience delivering complex written deliverables from intake to final delivery, including drafting and stakeholder coordination.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports to: Global Client Solutions, VP

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

• Supports the coordination and completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and ad-hoc investor requests from intake through final delivery, balancing timelines, stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Assist in refreshing strategy/fund level Generic DDQs quarterly or as needed.
• Partners with relationship management, product strategy, investment teams and subject matter experts to create clear, differentiated and responsive investor materials.
• Support the customization of proposal language to address investor priorities and diligence themes while maintaining consistency with approved messaging.
• Develop strong knowledge of Ares’ strategies, products, performance data, platform capabilities and corporate infrastructure to support accurate content creation.
• Demonstrates solid communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and escalte issues or questions as needed, especially under tight deadlines.
• Reviews and checks qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, including responses in questionnaires and data found in industry databases, with guidance from more senior team members.
• Maintain and govern proposal content across RFP technology platforms, including AI enablement, content reuse and alignment with firm standards.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools, data and process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency, response quality, workflow transparency and the stakeholder experience.
• Apply sound judgment when using AI-assisted content, validating accuracy, tone, sourcing and alignment with approved messaging before materials are shared.
• Serve as a collaborative partner with strong communication skills and accountability under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates flexibility in learning and supporting multiple strategies and asset classes as required

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or international equivalent, preferably in a related field (economics, finance, accounting, or marketing).
• Any other industry recognized professional certification like CFA, APMP is a plus.

Experience Required

• 2-4 years of experience in the financial services or asset management industry, ideally in RFP, investor relations, client service, product strategy, due diligence or a related fundraising support function.
• Experience using, implementing or optimizing RFP, proposal automation, knowledge management or AI-enabled workflow tools is preferred.
• Prior experience managing complex written deliverables from intake through final delivery, including drafting, editing, stakeholder coordination, quality control and deadline management is preferred.

• Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment while remaining calm, organized and solutions-oriented.
• Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across functions, demonstrates accountability and communicates proactively with internal partners.
• Intellectual curiosity and interest in developing a strong understanding of asset management, investment strategies, private markets and the institutional investor diligence process.
• Working knowledge of the asset management industry and familiarity with private markets or alternative investment products preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI or AI-enabled workflow, content management and reporting tools a plus
