Job Description
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to: Global Client Solutions, VP
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
- Supports the coordination and completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and ad-hoc investor requests from intake through final delivery, balancing timelines, stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Assist in refreshing strategy/fund level Generic DDQs quarterly or as needed.
- Partners with relationship management, product strategy, investment teams and subject matter experts to create clear, differentiated and responsive investor materials.
- Support the customization of proposal language to address investor priorities and diligence themes while maintaining consistency with approved messaging.
- Develop strong knowledge of Ares' strategies, products, performance data, platform capabilities and corporate infrastructure to support accurate content creation.
- Demonstrates solid communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and escalat**e** issues or questions as needed, especially under tight deadlines.
- Reviews and checks qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, including responses in questionnaires and data found in industry databases, with guidance from more senior team members.
- Maintain and govern proposal content across RFP technology platforms, including AI enablement, content reuse and alignment with firm standards.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools, data and process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency, response quality, workflow transparency and the stakeholder experience.
- Apply sound judgment when using AI-assisted content, validating accuracy, tone, sourcing and alignment with approved messaging before materials are shared.
- Serve as a collaborative partner with strong communication skills and accountability under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrates flexibility in learning and supporting multiple strategies and asset classes as required
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or international equivalent, preferably in a related field (economics, finance, accounting, or marketing).
- Any other industry recognized professional certification like CFA, APMP is a plus.
Experience Required
- 2-4 years of experience in the financial services or asset management industry, ideally in RFP, investor relations, client service, product strategy, due diligence or a related fundraising support function.
- Experience using, implementing or optimizing RFP, proposal automation, knowledge management or AI-enabled workflow tools is preferred.
- Prior experience managing complex written deliverables from intake through final delivery, including drafting, editing, stakeholder coordination, quality control and deadline management is preferred.

- Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across functions, demonstrates accountability and communicates proactively with internal partners.
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in developing a strong understanding of asset management, investment strategies, private markets and the institutional investor diligence process.
- Working knowledge of the asset management industry and familiarity with private markets or alternative investment products preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI or AI-enabled workflow, content management and reporting tools a plus
