Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) in Gurugram invites an experienced Retail Portfolio Operations Analyst to join our Investment Resource Group. You will maintain and reconcile client portfolio data, generate reports, and support performance inquiries in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, process improvements, and teamwork, with exposure to external custodians and fund administrators. Two years in investment operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of investment accounts (RRSP, TFSA, RRIF, etc.).
• Ability to deliver high-quality output under deadlines.
• Willingness to learn processes and improve operational efficiencies.
• Collaborative spirit and teamwork.
• At least two years of related work experience in an investment firm, bank, or trust company.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile client portfolio and fund data, including client cash, holdings and units.
• Work with external custodians, fund administrators, and CC&L teams.
• Respond to ad hoc client portfolio queries from custodians and front office.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports for high-net-worth clients.
• Provide support to other teams on performance inquiries related to transactional data.
• Trade pooled funds and monitor high-net-worth clients using our Custom Trade Order Management system.
• Coordinate account transfers between custodians.
• Maintain client fee and holdings data to generate invoices and collect fees owed.
• Assist with process-enhancement projects for CC&L Private Capital Ltd & CC&L Funds Inc.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and reconcile client portfolio and fund data, including client cash, holdings, and units, as well as fund‑level cash flows and performance.
• Work with external custodians, fund administrators, and various areas within CC&L Business and Investment teams.
• Respond to ad hoc client portfolio queries from custodians and front office.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Provide support to other teams on performance inquiries related to transactional data.

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset. Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and developed knowledge of investment accounts (RRSP, TFSA, RRIF, etc.).
• Able to continually ensure high‑quality output while identifying areas for investigation.
• Proven ability to think logically and solve problems effectively. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines.
• The desire to learn processes and improve operational efficiencies.
• Collaborative spirit that enables effective teamwork and communication.
• At least two years of related work experience in an investment firm, bank, or trust company is an asset.
