Position Summary:
NPS Prism has experienced tremendous growth as a standalone software and data business and is transitioning from a consulting‑led to a technology‑led business. The Analyst will help drive business growth by building world‑class data products and collaborating with the Prism India Hub Team Manager, Product Manager and other stakeholders to deliver commercially successful products across core sectors and regions.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, SQL, Python or pyspark.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large datasets from source to emerging data.
- Support senior team members in implementing AI/ML‑driven automation for repetitive data tasks such as validation, coding and anomaly detection.
- Assist in building scheduled data pipelines using Databricks workflows for automated data refresh and processing.
- Develop & maintain client‑ready visualization dashboards in Tableau.
- Support data preparation and analysis using Alteryx or SQL.
- Assist in the execution of benchmarking surveys, including sample specification and research data management.
- Provide ongoing support for subscription customers: custom data cuts, methodology queries and insights delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high‑quality, timely outputs across product operations workstreams.
- Translate technical concepts and data into clear, structured insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to reusable templates, process documentation and standard practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Demonstrate curiosity and hypothesis‑driven thinking to uncover patterns and build robust analytical models.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Education
- Must Have: Graduate from a top‑tier institute or equivalent engineering college/university.
- Good To Have: Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics or Market Research.
- Experience
- Must Have: 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Python or pyspark, SQL and Databricks at renowned companies.
- Good To Have: Basic experience with Tableau, building dashboards and maintaining reports.
- Good To Have: Hands‑on exposure to survey design, data processing and visualization.
- Good To Have: Professional experience in Alteryx.
- Technical Skills
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Python or pyspark, SQL and Databricks.
- Basic experience with Tableau and report maintenance.
- Proven experience using Alteryx or similar data preparation tools.
- Understanding of core statistical and analytical methods.
- Solid grasp of ETL tools like Python and basic knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (good to have).
- Basic familiarity with AI/ML concepts for automating data workflows.
- Exposure to Databricks workflows or similar orchestration tools for scheduling and automating pipelines and integrating with downstream reporting tools like Tableau.
- Other Skills
