Job summary

MitKat is seeking a skilled GSOC Analyst to monitor global events 24/7 and support risk assessment for assets, offices, and travellers. You will assist senior analysts with incident response, crisis communications, and travel risk management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in GSOC or related fields, a master's or bachelor's in relevant areas, fluent English, and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of PowerBI/Tableau and OSINT is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in GSOC operations or related fields.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, security studies, economics, crisis management or related fields.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is desired.
  • Proficient in MS Office; PowerBI/Tableau knowledge is a plus; OSINT knowledge desirable.
  • Willingness to work different shifts.
  • Travel security and emergency support experience is valuable.

  • 24/7 monitoring of real-time global events to assess threats to assets and travellers.
  • Incident response and crisis communications; main intake point for safety incidents.
  • Assist in initial incident responses and escalate as needed; notify stakeholders.
  • Prepare risk reports and client deliverables.

Job Description
  • 24/7 Monitoring: Continuously monitor worldwide events in real-time through social media, open-source information, and proprietary services to evaluate and disseminate information on any threats to the company s assets, office locations and travellers.Basic Risk Assessment: Support senior analysts in risk evaluation, offering insights and early warnings on emerging incidents.
  • Incident Response and Crisis Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for the intake and escalation of safety and security incidents as reported by company personnel. Must have strong crisis management skills to quickly action any calls received on 24/7 hotline. Assist in initial incident responses and ensure proper escalation as needed. Synthesize data and compose accurate and timely communications, according to established procedures and templates, to notify relevant stakeholders (regional security management, employees, travellers, leadership, etc.). Must be comfortable sending out communications via a mass notification system to a large number of staff in the event of a crisis.
  • Travel Risk Management: Provide assistance in managing communications with clients and travellers regarding travel security and risk prevention.
  • Research Reporting: Assist with the preparation of risk reports and assessments, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
Qualifications and Skills (Required)
  • Experience: 1 3 years of experience in GSOC operations, threat intelligence, risk analysis, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
  • Education: Master s degree or bachelor s degree with equivalent experience in political science, international relations, security studies, intelligence studies, economics, crisis management or related fields.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is desired.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, or Decision Trees is an advantage. OSINT knowledge is desirable.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work under different work-shifts.
  • Travel Security: Ability to create travel briefs and support in crisis during travel.
  • Emergency Support: Ability to support company and employees in any high crisis emergency situations 24/7.
  • Dynamic Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
  • Team Player: Effective team player, ready to support colleagues in flexible working arrangements.
