Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking an Analyst, Learning & Development based in Bangalore, India. This role collaborates with the IBM team to provide comprehensive learning services for MedTech SC Plan teams across Business Units and MTSC.

This is an individual contributor role with no people management or budget requirements, focusing on designing and delivering training programs aligned with J&J branding and business needs, achieving measurable impact.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (education, management, supply chain, HR, communications).
  • Relevant certifications preferred – e.g., in adult education or training design.
  • Relevant Master’s qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implements quality training programs to support MedTech SC Regions and Plan.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise in design and administration of training programs.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research and materials.
  • Develops programs to identify developmental needs and prepare employees for more responsible positions.
  • Consults with management to identify training needs and effective solutions.
  • Prepares recommendations for creation, acquisition and delivery of training programs.
  • Implements measurement methods for evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Suggests improvements to training events and materials to meet evolving business needs.
  • Reviews training summaries and attendance reports and provides management recommendations.
  • Contributes to delivery of effective, results-driven training and development strategies.

Job Description: Role description

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is hiring an Analyst, Learning & Development, based in Bangalore, India. This position reports into the Integrated Business Management team (IBM), which is part of MedTech Supply Chain (MTSC). The purpose of this role is to collaborate with partners, to provide a comprehensive learning service for MedTech SC Plan teams across different Business Units and MTSC. This role is an individual contributor position with no people management or budget/approval requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Implements quality training programs that support the objectives of MedTech Supply Chain Regions and Plan.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise in the design and administration of training programs to train all levels of employees.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research, new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Develops programs and practices to identify developmental needs including preparing employees for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
  • Consults with management, employees, and departments to identify training needs and achieve effective training solutions.
  • Prepares recommendations and supporting materials for decision-makers regarding the creation, acquisition, and delivery of training programs that meet the company's needs.
  • Implements measurement methods for evaluating training effectiveness against business needs.
  • Suggests improvements to training events, programs, and materials to improve effectiveness and meet evolving needs of the business.
  • Reviews summaries of training program assessment data and participant attendance reports and provides recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to the delivery of highly effective, results-driven training and development strategies to support business leaders and their employee needs, goals, and growth.
Accountabilities

With the guidance of the Talent, Learning and Change Lead, the incumbent will be hands-on in the execution of Learning activities for MedTech SC Regions and Planning, including:

  • Coordinates the New Learning Request process and supports prioritization activities.
  • Project execution of the creation of new learning (scope, timeline, stakeholder coordination).
  • Performs quality assurance for new learning content.
  • Monitors and coordinates the review cycle of on-demand training to ensure that on-demand training is reviewed and validated on schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Content Creators to develop new on-demand learning modules to quality standards.
  • Communicates business-related issues or opportunities to management as appropriate.
  • Ensures personal compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Experience & Education

Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience required. Ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of design and online tools to create training material in the most efficient way, and that’s also visually compliant with J&J branding guidelines.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, including (but not limited to) education, business and management, supply chain, human resources, and communication.

Relevant certifications preferred – e.g., in adult education or training design, neurolinguistic programming or similar.

Relevant Master’s qualifications preferred.
