This position will be based in Chennai, India. You will report to the Assistant Manager, Indirect Procurement.

Responsibilities:

Vendor onboarding and maintenance (VMF)
Coordinating with vendors for delivery status
Manage and review PR and PO: indirect purchase order placement, approval, and supplier acknowledgment
Timely issuance of POs, follow-up for confirmation, and coordination for on-time payment
Complete Open Purchase Order Report on time
Validate accrual files from AP
Support testing for NetSuite and other new tools
Owner of procurement process documents
Manage KPI metrics: past due, order confirmation, invoice challenges, RNB reports
Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for procurement activities
Support inter-departmental backup
Handle Vendor Return Authorization (VRA) requests
Close aged POs and past due items
Manage Capex POs
Maintain vendor master data
Negotiate payment terms with vendors

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field with 1-2 years of experience in indirect procurement
Experience with indirect sourcing categories (IT, professional services, logistics, etc.)
Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills
Flexible to work in US time zone
Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills

Preferred Experience:

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Strong time management and attention to detail
