Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking an IT Asset Management/CMDB Analyst in Hyderabad to manage CMDB workflows in ServiceNow, ensure data accuracy, and produce audit-ready reports. You will collaborate across teams to improve asset lifecycle processes and governance.

The role requires 2+ years in CMDB, strong data analysis and reporting, and excellent communication. Hybrid or on-site options may be available depending on team needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CMDB experience working in ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management, CMDB and asset/CI life-cycle practices.
• Data analysis and reporting skills to support investigations and remediations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects with and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the CMDB work queue (tickets and/or emails), providing timely responses and resolutions.
• Maintain and support operations designed to keep an accurate and healthy CMDB.
• Develop a progressive understanding of the ServiceNow data model relating to IT Asset Management, CMDB and ServiceNow tools.
• Create reports for CMDB stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT Asset Management policies and practices.
• Produce reports and artifacts to support audits.
• Develop a deep understanding of IT Asset Management policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the cmdb work queue (tickets and/or emails), providing timely responses and resolutions
• Maintain and support operations designed to keep an accurate and healthy cmdb
• Develop a progressive understanding and knowledge of the ServiceNow data model and functionality as it relates to the IT Asset Management, CMDB and ServiceNow management tools
• Create reports for used and needed by CMDB stakeholders
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT Asset Management policies, standards and practices for effective asset life-cycle management
• Produce reports and artifacts as needed to support internal/external audits
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of IT Asset Management policies, best practices and procedures

Knowledge and Experience

• 2+ years of CMDB experience working in ServiceNow
• Strongs understanding of IT Asset Management, CMDB and asset/CI life-cycle practices
• As needed, develop solutions independently or collaboratively
• Data analysis and reporting skills to support investigations and remediations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects with and ability to perform well under pressure

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with servers, network gear, AWS, Kubernetes as it relates to cmdb management
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced excel data analysis, scripting and/or programming experience
