Job summary

Alstom in Bangalore is seeking a full-time Endpoint Security Analyst to strengthen our security posture. You will implement and maintain endpoint security tools, respond to incidents, and work with IT and security teams to safeguard systems.

You will manage EDR incidents, upgrade security solutions, and contribute to compliance reporting. Strong knowledge of EDR tools and ITIL processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in endpoint security.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Extensive experience with EDR solutions such as Microsoft EDR, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto.
• Proficiency with endpoint security tools including Symantec and McAfee.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and incident/change management experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain endpoint security and antivirus tools.
• Monitor endpoint security posture and respond to incidents.
• Manage endpoint policy configuration and agent deployment on client machines.
• Analyze EDR incidents and suspicious activity; escalate as needed.
• Upgrade EDR and antivirus solutions based on vendor notes.
• Produce weekly and monthly security compliance reports.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to address issues.

Job Summary

You'll play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our endpoint security infrastructure, ensuring the protection of our systems and data. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as IT, operations, and security teams), respond to security incidents, and implement proactive measures to safeguard our environment. You'll specifically take care of implementing and maintaining endpoint security tools, but also analyzing and responding to security threats to ensure our systems remain secure and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining various endpoint security and antivirus tools.
• Managing endpoint security teams and monitoring information security technologies and devices.
• Handling endpoint policy configuration and implementing/upgrading endpoint agents on client machines.
• Monitoring and analyzing EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) incidents and suspicious activity.
• Upgrading endpoint security solutions like EDR and traditional antivirus tools based on vendor release notes.
• Preparing and delivering compliance management and security reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Responding to internal stakeholder questions on security issues and creating knowledge base articles for technical issues.
• Managing incidents and changes using the ServiceNow tool and analyzing incidents for various technologies.

Qualifications

• Overall 4+yrs of experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with EDR solutions such as Microsoft EDR, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, TrendMicro, Palo Alto, or Tehtris.
• Proficiency with various endpoint security tools, including Symantec, McAfee, and Microsoft Defender.
• Solid understanding of ITIL process frameworks and experience with incident and change management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with hands‑on experience in security tools and technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, drive action items, and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and concise approach.
• Proven ability to adapt to change, handle competing priorities, and think strategically.
• A drive for continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.
