Job summary

Lennox India Technology Centre in Chennai is seeking a qualified legal professional to manage commercial agreements, including master services, statements of work, amendments, and event contracts. The role focuses on negotiation, risk allocation, ensuring confidentiality, IP rights, data privacy, and audit rights.

You will collaborate with the US-based headquarters, file and monitor contracts in Lennox’s contract management system, and support business teams across departments in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Requires a law degree from an accredited law school in India.
  • 4+ years of experience with contract management and contractual risk allocation. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Experience working with commercial contracts in a large corporate environment, preferably at a manufacturing company and/or reviewing information technology agreements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members as well as different stakeholders across departments.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with eagerness to continually learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Review, prepare, draft, negotiate and administer a variety of commercial agreements (e.g., master services agreement, event agreements, statements of work, amendments, change orders).

  • Collaborate with other Legal Team members and business teams located at the company’s US-based headquarters on issues as they arise.
  • Be responsible for contract management activities, including filing, monitoring and tracking within Lennox’s contract management system.
