Job summary

Lactalis India is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee end-to-end contract lifecycles, from drafting to execution, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation. You will partner with Procurement, Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations to close agreements efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in commercial contract management, a solid grasp of Indian contract law, and proficiency with MS Office and CLM/AI tools. Prior experience in CLM systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• LL.B. degree required; LL.M. preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in commercial contract management.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts.

Contract Lifecycle Management

• Escalate complex legal issues when required.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.
• Support resolution of contract disputes, claims, and notices.
• Advise on risk mitigation measures

Process Improvement

• Improve contract templates, workflows, and approval processes.
• Support legal technology and automation initiatives.
