Job summary

Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support daily compliance monitoring and reporting within its investment operations team.

The role focuses on testing, data reconciliation, and collaboration across Fund Accounting, Trade Support and Data Management to ensure accurate, timely deliverables. You will work with CLO documents, develop improved processes with IT, and conduct ad hoc research to support governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 2+ years’ experience in compliance, middle office, or monitoring in financial services.
• Experience with reconciliation or trade settlements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring and reconciliation of compliance testing.
• Prepare hypothetical test scenarios.
• Assist monthly reporting, update models and liaise with trustee.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring/reconciliation of compliance testing;
• Preparation of hypothetical test scenarios;
• Assisting in the monthly reporting process; including updating models, liaising with trustee on data/cash reconciliations and agreeing reports for release to investors;
• Working with internal groups such as Fund Accounting, Trade Support and Data Management throughout monitoring and reporting process to ensure accurate/timely deliverables;
• Understanding the CLO documents and outlining necessary compliance parameters;
• Testing internal compliance models for new/refinanced CLO transactions;
• Working with internal IT teams to develop improved processes and efficiency gains;
• Ad hoc research and data requests

Experience Required

• 2+ years’ experience in compliance, middle office, and/or monitoring capacity in Financial Services
• Experience in reconciliation and/or trade settlements preferred
• Experience with Bloomberg, WSO/CDO Suite, Sky Road, S&P and Moody’s is highly desirable, but not necessary
