Job summary

Acceler8 Global in Hyderabad, India seeks an entry-level Bookkeeper to maintain daily financial records for global clients using an EOR model. You will record, reconcile, and secure audit-ready data with attention to GAAP/IFRS standards.

You’ll work with QuickBooks/Xero/SAP B1 and collaborate with Payroll & Tax teams to ensure accurate payroll data and timely filings. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with shifts supporting US time zones (11 AM–8 PM IST or 2 PM–11 PM IST).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, SAP B1 and strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP or IFRS fundamentals and confidential data handling.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record and categorize all financial transactions into the accounting software and maintain the General Ledger.
• Perform timely reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements and other financial accounts for clients.
• Identify discrepancies and collaborate with the accounting team to resolve them.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor invoices and client payments.
• Organize financial records for audit readiness and statutory filing requirements.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Tax teams to provide reconciled data for payroll and filings.
• Generate basic financial reports such as Trial Balances and supporting schedules.

The Bookkeeper role is foundational to the financial integrity and client service delivery of Acceler8 Global. You will meticulously record, reconcile and maintain the daily financial transactions for our various global client entities operating in India through our EOR model. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals, and a commitment to records that are audit-ready and compliant with global standards.

What you'll do

• Accurately record and categorize all financial transactions, receipts, disbursements, sales and purchases, into the designated accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero), and maintain the General Ledger.
• Perform timely, accurate reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, credit card statements and other financial accounts for various clients.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies or variances and collaborate with the accounting team to resolve them.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor invoices and tracking client payments.
• Organize and maintain systematic financial records for audit purposes and statutory filing requirements.
• Work closely with Payroll and Tax teams to provide reconciled data for payroll runs and tax filings.
• Generate basic financial reports (Trial Balances and supporting schedules) and adhere to all internal SOPs for data security and financial controls.

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, SAP B1) and a strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS fundamentals) and record-keeping best practices.
• Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and high integrity handling confidential data.
• Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred; strong fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
• Shift timings: primarily to support U.S. time zones, 11 AM–8 PM IST or 2 PM–11 PM IST.
