Chubb India seeks a Senior Analyst - Actuarial Pricing in Bangalore to drive pricing for Accident & Health portfolios. You will collaborate with the ANZ A&H Pricing team, perform reserve reviews, and build pricing models using risk factors, trends and claims experience. Strong actuarial progress and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Progress in actuarial exams with good advancement.
• 3–5 years of actuarial work experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
• Strong analytical skills with statistical software and actuarial tools.
• Excellent communication to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the ANZ A&H Pricing team on key pricing responsibilities, such as portfolio reviews, price monitoring and case pricing.
• Conduct regular reserve and portfolio reviews to evaluate profitability, loss ratios and trends.
• Work with pricing models that incorporate risk factors, market trends, and claims experience.
• Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics for experience analysis.
• Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for pricing actuaries, underwriters and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, refining portfolio review process and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the ANZ A&H Pricing team on key pricing responsibilities, such as portfolio reviews, price monitoring and case pricing.
• Conduct regular reserve and portfolio reviews to evaluate the performance of the product, assessing profitability, loss ratios, and emerging trends.
• Work with pricing models that incorporate risk factors, market trends, and claims experience.
• Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics for analysis of experience.
• Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for pricing actuaries, underwriters, and stakeholders, clearly communicating assumptions, methodologies, and results.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, refining portfolio review process and improving efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, etc
• Pursuit of actuarial exams to qualify as an actuary and having good exam progress.
• 3 to 5 years relevant actuarial work experience in Property & Casualty insurance; experience in pricing or portfolio review is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Snowflake) and actuarial tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines and work independently.
