We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by working with critical data sets and providing insightful analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements for effective operations functioning.
Acquire, clean, and transform data from various sources using Excel and other tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Perform data analysis in Excel to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact decision-making and operations.
Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros) to streamline data processing and reporting.
Assist in developing and maintaining automated data pipelines, reports, and dashboards for regular monitoring.
Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior team members, presenting findings in a clear and visually appealing manner using Excel charts and graphs.
Work on data quality assurance to ensure consistency and validity of information.
Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and enhance data accuracy, using Excel as a tool for data validation.
Use SQL to query and manipulate databases for data extraction and reporting.
Support the development and maintenance of data documentation, including data dictionaries and standard operating procedures.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, operations, and Excel capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in SQL is plus; experience with other programming languages or data analysis tools is a plus.
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use complex functions and features for data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with data visualization is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
