Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, advanced problem‑solving abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights and decisions. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to understand business challenges, develop models, and communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Modeling: Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights. Develop predictive models (Regression Models, Decision Trees, etc.) and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. Implement segmentation models on the marketing database. Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data. Analyze data, develop segmentation models, and summarize results via reports, including response analyses from marketing campaigns, list rental models, and other data development models. Perform univariate/bivariate analysis and exploratory data analysis to find patterns in data.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Translate complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for non‑technical audiences. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement data‑driven solutions.
• Data Management and Cleaning: Ensure data integrity and quality by performing data cleaning and preprocessing. Maintain and optimize data pipelines and workflows. Manage data storage and retrieval systems.
• Tools and Technologies: Utilize programming languages such as Python, SQL, etc. for data analysis and modeling. Knowledge in SAS, SPSS, SAP – Infinite Insights / Predictive Analytics, SAP – HANA and other statistical software packages. Use data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to present findings.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. Experiment with new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve existing processes. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the data science team.
• Basic Knowledge of Direct Marketing and e‑commerce business applications.
