Job summary

Merck Group in Bengaluru seeks a Life Sciences professional to support product lifecycle activities. You will interface with manufacturing, QA, and cross-functional teams, ensuring NPDI data integrity and accurate product information on web platforms.

Responsibilities include SAP-based NPDI support, data cleansing, and maintaining master data quality, while adhering to SLAs and contributing to ISO audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate in Life Sciences from a reputed university.
• Experience: 1-3 years in scientific industry.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interface with manufacturing, QA, and other operational groups.
• Support NPDI/NPI activities via SAP and web data maintenance.
• Review NPDI and master data completeness and accuracy.
• Manage master data: review, cleanse, enrich, and ensure consistency.
• Review web data and troubleshoot product page issues.
• Support all steps of product life cycle management and portfolio reviews.
• Upload product documents and create website product listings.
• Meet SLAs and TAT with stakeholders.
• Maintain defined quality and productivity standards.
• Assist in ISO audits and related training.

Who You Are

• Act as a primary interface with Operational Organizations [Manufacturing, Purchasing, Tech Service, QA, etc]
• Supports Product Life Cycle Management / New Product Introduction activities through SAP & Web Data Maintenance using various tools
• Review NPDI completeness, Master data completeness and correctness
• Support master data management including data review, data cleansing, data enrichments and data consistency checks.
• Review web data compilation and troubleshoot WEB Product Page data isuues
• Support all relevant steps of product life cycle management and Portfolio review activities.
• Upload product documents (technical bulletins/product information sheet review, certificate of analysis, certificate of origin) on web whenever required
• Create product listing on the website
• Meeting the SLA and TAT as per the agreed guidelines with the Stakeholders
• Accountable for meeting and maintaining defined standards for quality and productivity
• Ensure that internal customer's and stakeholder's requirements are met on timely basis
• Demonstrate good process knowledge within the process on all the activities
• Assist on ISO Audit and other additional training activities
• Initiate process improvement projects/ideas

Your Role

Basic/ Minimum Qualifications:

• Postgraduate in Life Sciences (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology) from a reputed University.
• Experience: 1-3 Years in Scientific Industry

Technical Skill/Competencies

• Scientific Knowledge – In depth Proficiency and functional command expected over Life science subject.
• Understanding of roles and responsibilities of Business Operations.
• In depth Proficiency with internet and e-mail.
• Very good skills in Office 365 tools (Excel, Teams, Outlook, Sharepoint) and ability to set up complex database queries.
• Navigate different t-codes in SAP PRD, PRE, PRP & MDGM.
• Extract Data report - ERP (SAP) User Knowledge.
• Capable of Initiating the Change records/Controlled Document Management - Trackwise/Mango.
• Basic knowledge on Palantir.
