Job summary

Texas Instruments in Bengaluru is seeking a hardware design engineer to work on I/O circuit designs and verification. You will design GPIOs, LVDS, LDOs, level shifters and ensure power and area efficiency while collaborating with SoC teams to enable seamless IP integration.

The role involves robust verification, post-layout work, and thorough documentation of data to support successful integration in modern semiconductor devices.

Qualifications

• Design of I/O circuits and optimization for power, performance, and area.
• Robustness verification through PVT corner simulations and reliability analysis.
• Post-layout simulations and debugging guidance for layout engineers.
• Documentation of verification data.
• Inputs on dotlibs, Verilog, IBIS data generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IP at SoC integration.

Responsibilities

• Design of I/O circuits (GPIOs, LVDS, bandgap, LDO, level shifters) and power/area/performance optimization.
• Ensure design robustness via PVT corner simulations and reliability analysis.
• Post-layout simulations and guidance to layout engineer.
• Analyze and document verification data.
• Provide inputs on dotlibs, Verilog, IBIS data generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IP at SoC integration.

In this role, responsibilities may include:

• Design of I/O circuits like GPIOs (failsafe, non-failsafe), level shifters, LVDS I/O, bandgap, LDO, multi-voltage buffers etc and optimize for power/performance/area
• Ensure design robustness through comprehensive PVT corner simulations, reliability analysis, monte carlo analysis.
• Post layout simulations and ability to debug and provide guidance to the layout engineer as needed
• Detailed analysis and documentation of the verification data
• Understanding and providing inputs on dotlibs, verilog, Ibis data generation
• Collaborate with cross functional team to enable seamless integration of IP at SoC
