Qualifications

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or DA preferred
• Registration with State Medical Council or NMC required
• Freshers with relevant postgraduate qualification may be considered or experienced candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessment and anaesthesia planning
• Administer and monitor general, regional, and local anaesthesia
• Provide anaesthesia services for elective and emergency surgeries
• Monitor intra-operative course and manage airway, haemodynamics, and complications
• Provide post-operative care and pain management
• Handle anaesthesia-related emergencies and participate in CPR when needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff and other departments
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety guidelines
• Participate in on-call or emergency duties as rostered

Qualification:

• MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology preferred
• Diploma in Anaesthesia (DA) – candidates may also be considered, depending on hospital requirements and applicable regulations
• Valid medical registration with the relevant State Medical Council/NMC

Experience:

• Freshers with relevant postgraduate qualification may be considered
• Experienced candidates preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative assessment and anaesthesia planning for patients
• Administer and monitor general, regional, and local anaesthesia as appropriate
• Provide anaesthesia services for elective and emergency surgeries
• Monitor patients intra-operatively and manage airway, haemodynamic, and other anaesthesia-related issues
• Provide post-operative care and pain management
• Manage anaesthesia-related emergencies and participate in resuscitation/CPR when required
• Maintain accurate patient records and anaesthesia documentation
• Coordinate with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and other clinical departments
• Follow hospital protocols, infection-control standards, and patient-safety guidelines
• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per the hospital roster
