Job summary

Standard Chartered in Bengaluru is seeking a software professional to design and deliver robust banking software products, participate in agile scrum teams, and own the end-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment. You will tackle field issues with quick resolutions and drive secure, scalable components, including Microsoft Dynamics integrations.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and adherence to group standards while fostering open communication and collaborative teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Design & development of robust banking software product development
  • Delivery quality software which meets the business requirements
  • Work in a truly agile environment, as part of scrum teams that are striving to solve customer challenges
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle – requirements, design, implementation to deployment
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for product development and delivery
  • Handling problems reported from the field and coming up with quick resolution, workaround, recovery, and fixes.
  • Hands on experience working on Microsoft Dynamics
  • Build & deliver software using standard framework and design patterns.
  • Develop scalable real-time low-latency processing solutions in an agile delivery method
  • Develop secure software components that can be reused for building multi-grained services.
  • Adhere to governance and standards and ensure alignment with framework patterns.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing
  • Manage work on tools/modules deliverables from concept to completion as per project timelines
  • Brainstorm and suggest design solutions based on user/product requirements
  • Contribute towards an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and Technology strategy and applied appropriate to the role.
  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the group operates.
  • Domain knowledge in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB)
  • Align to the architecture principle defined as per CCIB CC domain
  • Follow the SDF process as per SCB standard
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, elevate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
