Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer to plan, design, verify, and test electronic systems, including high‑speed links, mixed‑signal PHYs, and lab validation. You will lead a small team and collaborate with design, boards, and ATE groups to meet performance targets.

The role requires 12 to 16 years of hardware engineering and managerial experience, with a background in post‑silicon bring‑up, DDR/Serdes, and analog/mixed‑signal design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field with 8+ years hardware engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree with 7+ years hardware engineering experience.
• PhD with 6+ years hardware engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Experienced in post-silicon bring-up and validation for mixed-signal PHYs; pre-silicon emulation is desirable.
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuits with high-speed links such as DDR PHY/Serdes.
• Experience with high-speed digital circuits, memories and lab testing is desirable.
• Experience with Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits like de-emphasis, CTLE, DFE is desirable.
• Knowledge of DDR protocols; ability to work with cross-functional teams (design, boards, ATE).
• Lab measurement with instruments such as Oscilloscope, BERT, etc.
