Responsible to administer the operations of computer systems related to UNIX & Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization and Cloud technologies.

What will your job look like?

1. Monitor and manage VMware infrastructure Environment across region.
2. Manage and troubleshoot machines on cloud Environment on multiple Platforms AWS, GCP, Azure.
3. Manage Physical Server, enclosure, and more components across region.
4. Manage vulnerabilities and security on Windows Servers OS with help of tools ATP, MS defender, GPO based hardening.
5. Ensure lifecycle management of different services including periodic upgrades, review of HA and DRP for services, Risk mitigations.
6. Collaborate and work effectively with other IT Groups in delivering required solutions.
7. Ensure frequent, concise communication with the Manager, regarding relevant issues related to the team, infrastructure technologies, risks, or other information as required.
8. Use critical thinking and project management discipline, tools, and techniques in the day-to-day execution of responsibilities and in resource and workload planning.
9. Ensure team adherence to standard IS practices/policies.

All you need is…

MUST to have:

1. 3-7 years of experience managing Windows Server and troubleshooting.
2. Proven hands-on experience in VMware virtualization- ESXI, vCenter 3-7 years of experience.
3. 3-7 years of experience in hardware administration – physical Servers, Enclosure.
4. Knowledge in managing Cloud Machines on platforms- GCP, Azure, AWS – advantage.
5. Experience in building automated scripts using PowerShell.
6. Basic knowledge of storage and networking - Must.
7. Basic knowledge of working with DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, AD.

Will be added advantage:

1. Basic knowledge of VMware components NSX, VRealize suite -VRA, VROPS, loginsight.
2. Basic knowledge of HCI System Simplivity, Vxrail, Vsan.
3. Basic knowledge of Managing Server/enclosure from one portal (OneView, OME).
4. Working in a large environment.
5. Ability to handle production problems efficiently.
