Job summary

E Solutions is seeking a skilled Amazon Q Developer Engineer/Architect to join our cloud-native team. You will design, develop and optimize intelligent software using Amazon Q Developer and AWS services, driving modern DevOps, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

You will collaborate across architecture, development and operations to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions and enable application modernization with Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Amazon Q Developer.
• Strong knowledge of serverless and containerized architectures.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Node.js or Go.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Amazon Q Developer Engineer / Architect to join a growing technology team focused on cloud-native application development, AI-powered engineering, and modern DevOps practices. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing intelligent software solutions using Amazon Q Developer and AWS cloud services. Candidates will work on application modernization, automation, AI-assisted development workflows, and scalable cloud architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-native solutions using Amazon Q Developer and AWS services
• Build scalable and secure applications using AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon ECS/EKS, Amazon S3, API Gateway, and IAM
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI/CD
• Create infrastructure automation solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop applications and backend services using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Node.js, and Go
• Integrate AI-powered development workflows including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI agents
• Support application modernization and legacy system transformation initiatives
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and security reviews
• Generate technical documentation and support AI-powered testing strategies
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
• Monitor deployment quality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational stability
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Q Developer and AWS cloud services
• Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, IAM, and DevOps services
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Node.js, or Go
• Experience with CI/CD automation tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS DevOps tools
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments
• Knowledge of LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and AI agents
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bitbucket and JIRA
• Knowledge of AI-powered testing and automated documentation generation
• Exposure to code modernization and application transformation projects
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and cloud security practices
• Understanding of performance tuning and system optimization
• Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Japanese language proficiency is an added advantage
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills
• Awareness of risk management and governance practices

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant AWS certifications or cloud certifications are a plus
• Experience in cloud architecture, AI-enabled development, or enterprise application development is preferred
