Intelli Search Services in India (Global Delivery Hub) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting to oversee end-to-end private equity and hedge fund accounting, NAV calculations, and financial reporting for a growing funds business. You will lead day-to-day operations and coordinate with EMEA and global stakeholders.

The role requires strong fund administration experience, capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and investor dealings, with preference for CA/CPA/CFA/MBA Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or MBA Finance) is highly preferred.
• 5+ years in Fund Administration / Fund Accounting at Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Associate level.
• Strong hands-on exposure to Private Equity (capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, partner capital accounting).
• Sound understanding of Hedge Fund NAVs, equalization, performance fees, and investor dealing processes.
• Shift Alignment: Flexibility to work EMEA shift hours (12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST).
• Advanced MS Excel skills (reconciliations, complex formulas, large datasets, NAV templates).

Responsabilités

• Review and oversee bookkeeping, period-end NAVs, management accounts, investor statements, and annual/interim financial statement preparation across Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, and Hedge Fund structures.
• Oversee partner capital accounts, capital calls, distributions, management fee structures, carried interest, and waterfall calculations. For hedge funds, review subscriptions, redemptions, equalisation, performance fee allocations, and portfolio trade reconciliations.
• Support onboarding of new fund structures, set up accounting records/checklists, and maintain operating procedures to optimize controls and workflow efficiency.
• Serve as first-level reviewer for work prepared by Senior Associates/Associates, provide coaching, and balance team workloads to ensure accurate and timely client sign-offs.
• Interact directly with investment managers, custodians, banks, auditors, and global jurisdiction teams.

Assistant Manager Private Equity & Hedge Fund Accounting

Shift Timings: EMEA Shift (12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST)

Location: India (Global Delivery Hub)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting to join our expanding Funds business. This role acts as a primary first-level reviewer overseeing end-to-end fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational deliverables for Private Equity / Closed-ended funds, alongside Hedge Funds / Open-ended funds. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure accurate NAV calculations, direct team outputs, and collaborate closely with EMEA and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Reporting: Review and oversee bookkeeping, period-end NAVs, management accounts, investor statements, and annual/interim financial statement preparation across Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, and Hedge Fund structures.

Key Requirements

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or MBA Finance) is highly preferred.


• Relevant Experience: 5+ years in Fund Administration / Fund Accounting with demonstrated experience at an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Associate level.


• Core Technical Expertise:
