Job summary

Lilly is recruiting for a strategic ecosystem role in its India affiliate, focusing on dementia care pathways and AD ecosystem readiness. The role involves account mapping, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional planning to accelerate patient access.

Key responsibilities include identifying priority accounts, building collaborations with medical and diagnostic partners, and shaping care pathways across COEs to reduce patient leakage and improve Dx/treatment outcomes.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Account Mapping & Strategy Development
  • Utilize the IBU-provided Dx & Infrastructure Mapping Tool to assess quantity and quality of mapped accounts.
  • Identify Top 15 priority accounts per territory, with deep insights into:
  • Internal capacity & capabilities
  • Referral networks
  • Stakeholder mapping
  • Diagnostic and treatment protocols
  • Liquid testing and safety monitoring pathways
  • Institutional Leadership Connect to set up Dementia Clinics at COEs.
  • Customer Engagement & Activity Planning
  • Engage a predefined list of priority stakeholders, securing e-permissions and ensuring meaningful interactions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality cross-functional account plans through the VAMT (Veeva Account Management Tool).
  • Establish governance to track performance and evolution of account strategy against defined objectives.
  • Ecosystem Readiness & Capability Building
  • Define and monitor existing Imaging and Liquid Dx capabilities within targeted accounts.
  • Track evolution of Dx readiness, including:
  • Baseline capacity to confirm AD neuropathology
  • Adoption of Advanced Dx tools over time
  • Dx & Tx Ecosystem Mapping and Pathway Shaping
  • Map key account ecosystems, including:
  • Dx & Tx stakeholders
  • CSF, BBMs & PET capabilities
  • Referral dynamics – Psychiatrists, Physicians, Geriatricians, GPs
  • Facilitate local solutions to address infusion capacity barriers where applicable.
  • Develop connect with ‘Dementia Co-ordinators’ and ‘Dementia Navigators’ across COEs.
  • Enhance Dx and care pathways through:
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Protocol shaping
  • Strengthening inter-hospital and diagnostic centre collaborations
  • Alliances & Partnerships
  • Identify and manage local alliances (e.g., pharma partners, diagnostic manufacturers, large CSF labs) to build and scale the AD ecosystem.
  • Drive collaborative initiatives that address systemic challenges across care pathways.

  • Account coverage & Quality of account mapping
  • Dx ecosystem insights & account Dx readiness
  • Account plan development & execution of cross-functional account plans
  • Evolution of ecosystem readiness across prioritized accounts
  • Progress in shaping and standardizing local AD care pathways
  • Success in establishing strategic alliances and addressing system barriers

This role is pivotal in minimizing patient leakage through timely Dx and appropriate care pathway activation, ensuring patients with AD have access to the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.

Core Capabilities / Skills
  • Ability to engage with and influence clinical, diagnostic, and administrative stakeholders across care levels
  • Experience in ecosystem mapping, stakeholder management, and healthcare network navigation
  • Comfortable working in pre-launch / pre-MA environments with evolving strategies and limited infrastructure
  • Excellent project management, communication, and data interpretation skills
  • Fluency in English required; local language proficiency may be necessary depending on geography

  • Preferred: Strong understanding of diagnostic and treatment pathways, including CSF and PET diagnostics, and liquid biomarkers
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Prior work experience in Super Speciality business preferred
  • Proven experience in ecosystem shaping, market development, or healthcare system readiness roles
  • Proven business results and outcome in managing high value accounts
  • Collaboration and Business Acumen – proven ability to manage large zones and accounts across geography and building access, bridging clinical care gaps and developing clinical care pathways
