Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in asset markets, hedge fund pricing.
• Proficient in Python/SQL/Pyspark and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Understand how Data analytics team works, especially data transformation and data load to the system.
• Build pipe using Pyspark.
• Understand data points required for asset classes like Equities, Fixed income, Listed Options, Mutual Funds, OTCs etc.
• Product knowledge of all OTC products.
• Liaise with vendor to resolve issues and minimize risk.
• Monitor systems for related job success and resolve issues by working with vendor.
• Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to supervisor.
• Ensure operational support for Hedge Fund trading globally.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Asset Pricing & Reference Data operating unit supporting Hedge Fund Services Pricing. This high energy team is responsible for providing our hedge fund customers with daily pricing for a wide range of asset types, including public debt, exchange traded securities, private holdings and OTC derivative instruments. You will be joining a team of professionals with extensive and varied experience, and will interact with clients, pricing service vendors, auditors, accountants and other operations and technical professionals. As you grow into the role, your feedback will be vital in serving the needs of clients and ensuring daily tasks and project assignments remain on track as we progress to becoming the industry leader in hedge fund administration. Job Responsibilities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Self-motivated and proactive with the proven ability to work with the team, individual who has interest working in Data analytics, Tech operations role.
• Knowledge of industry activities - Knowledge of Trade Processing, Data analytics & on technology side having Python, SQL or Pyspark knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree with preference in Finance, Accounting, or Computer science.
• Minimum 5 year of experience required, exposure to asset stock markets, Equities, debt and OTC derivatives.
• Demonstrate experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Python, SQL or Pyspark knowledge.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills demonstrating customer focus and an ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and interact across departments.
