Job summary

MulticoreWare in Chennai, India is seeking an Algorithm Engineer to optimize software for CPUs, GPUs, DSPs and FPGAs, and to develop high‑performance algorithms for machine learning, computer vision and numerical applications.

You will collaborate with software and hardware teams, analyze performance bottlenecks, implement optimization techniques, and deliver optimized solutions across heterogeneous architectures to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS in CS/Electronics/ECE or related field.
• Strong programming in C/C++.
• Experience with CUDA, OpenCL or similar parallel programming.
• Experience with CPUs/GPUs/DSPs/FPGA.
• FPGA development with VHDL/Verilog/HLS (Vivado/Vitis, Quartus).
• Knowledge of performance optimization and memory optimization.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Job Description

We are lookingfor an Algorithm Engineer with experience in optimizing software for CPUs,GPUs, DSPs, and FPGAs. The role involves developing high-performance algorithmsfor machine learning, computer vision, and numerical applications.

Requirements

Education:

B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MSin Computer Science, Electronics, ECE, or a related field.

Technical Skills (Must haves)

• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Experience with CUDA, OpenCL, or similar parallelprogramming technologies.
• Experience working with CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, orFPGAs.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA development usingVHDL, Verilog, HLS, Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, Intel Quartus, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of performance optimization,parallel computing, and memory optimization.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Need to have (Can be bridged)

• 4+ years of experience in algorithm developmentor software optimization.
• Experience with hardware-oriented algorithmoptimization and performance analysis.

Good to have (Not essential)

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or otherAI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of LLVM, MLIR, or TVM.
• Experience in embedded systems or AIacceleration.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Experience ineither Algorithm Optimization or FPGA acceleration, with the ability to develophigh-performance solutions across target hardware architectures.
